Our Classes


The Eagles’ Wings foundation offers two training courses designed to instruct participants how to replicate the our system of Volunteer Management that has been utilized in countless disaster response operations.

Program Management Course

The Program Management Course instructs participants in the our system of Volunteer Management. The PMC is designed as a Train-the Trainer Course that allows students to utilize a replicable and scalable system of volunteer management. Participants will generate a customized Incident Action Plan based on local special needs and risk areas.  Graduates from the PMC will go on to instruct participants in the Basic Course as they implement their IAP and perform a full-scale field exercise simulating a disaster response operation.

Basic Course & Full Scale Exercise

The Basic Course and Full Scale Exercise is instructed by graduated from the Program Management Course and is designed to simulate an actual disaster response operation in the field. Participants in the Basic Course will be instructed in our system of Volunteer Management and where each individual fits in to the Incident Command System. Participants will then enter the field under the direction of graduates from the Program Management Course and simulate a disaster response operation. Following this simulation, participants will return to base and create and After Action Report that outlines the Best Practices from the exercise, and also areas of improvement.
